GE RT 3200

 The RT 3200 offers features that enhance the ease of use, increase clinical capabilities, and improve operator efficiency. A lightweight, compact size makes it easy to move around the office or to position for portable procedures. And the adjustable 12-inch monitor, which offers excellent black and white imaging, raises, tilts and swivels for convenient patient viewing.

Specifications

Display Monitor 

The 12” monitor displays patient images. Brightness and contrast can be adjusted with controls located at the left side of the monitor. Monitor can be tilted and swiveled for optimum viewing.
Probes 

The probes transmit acoustic pulses into the patient’s body. The RT3200 then processes the acoustic pulses and displays them as a rectangular, two-dimensional image on the monitor. It uses a wide variety of linear array probes for general purpose imaging. Convex (curved linear) array probes, which allow expanded sector imaging capability, are also available. Two probes can be connected at the same time.
Page Printer 

The page printer mounts on the platform to the left of the image display monitor.
Operator Panel 

The operator panel contains the RT 3200 function keys and keyboard.
Trackball 

The trackball, located on the right side of the operator panel, controls the movement of the cursors on the image display monitor.
Cursors 

The cursors can be used for distance and trace/area measurements, TGC zone testing, body pattern probe symbol, image components and M-Mode sampling.
Alphanumeric Keyboard 

Use the alphanumeric keyboard to enter patients information and image comments and to activate special Control key functions.
Storage 

Use the storage compartment to store the cable routing arms when they are not in use. To open storage compartment, pull the cover down. Cover can also be removed.
Foot switch 

The footswitch toggles the freeze function on or off to freeze real-time image on the screen. You can use the footswitch interchangeably with the freeze key on the operator panel.
Wheel lock 

The neutral position on the wheel locks releases the locks and caster swivel so the RT 3200 can be removed. The lock position locks the wheels and casters at the same time and prevents console from moving
